Who we Are
We are an organisation dedicated to the appreciation of trees in the county of Wiltshire. We were formed in 2009
What we Believe
We maintain a strong adherence to the following basic principles.
- Promoting a firm emphasis on protecting the environment,
and providing public lectures to this end.
- Raising money and devising a planting programme in the county,
relying on expert advice.
- Giving Wiltshire-based tree nurseries preference
when buying in, and opting for native species.
- Maintaining support for tree projects overseas, especially in Rwanda and Uganda
- Dedication to minimal overheads - no paid staff or rented offices.
Maximum of administration in the hands of volunteers
- Having a serious respect for and collaborating with other agencies working for the good of
Wilthshire's wildlife and natural resources.
